Our first Opera!

We went to see The Elixir of Love today and it was pretty good! It was our first opera! Of course Kiersten said she would rather see Oprah (lol!) and that it hurt her ears! Silly girl! But I think deep down somewhere she may have enjoyed it a little bit and I don't feel one bit sad for dragging her to it. It's a great cultural experience that I'm so thankful to have in our area! We need to do more of it for sure! Afterwards we walked around downtown some and we found a store that had Little Missmatched stuff that Kiersten has been drooling over for sometime! It was fun to see it in person instead of online and we ended up with a pair of fun socks. And then we stopped for cupcakes at Sister's McMullen and they were yummy! It was a very fun day spent with my girl! ;)
