I Heart Photos Pet Faces

It's been a long time since I entered this contest for sure!  So here is to starting something again that I loved!

I loved this photo of our new puppy and it was contrived at all!  Our cocker was laying on the couch and the new little one just snuck up right under his paws and went to sleep!  It was SO cute!

I Heart Faces Week 40: Excitement!

This week's theme at I Heart Faces is excitement.  As I looked through my pictures this week, this one stuck out to me as simple pure excitement.  It was a hot summer day and we had put out a slip in slide in our front yard and Kiersten and some of our neighborhood kids had a blast.  I loved capturing moments like this and being able to relive that memory!  Be sure to check out the other exciting photos at I Heart Faces!

I Heart Faces Week 38 **Blue**

This weeks theme is Blue and this is a picture from a pregnancy photo shoot I did for a very sweet couple. I loved this blue dress that she had! I had so much fun taking these photos and her and her husband were so fun to work with. It was wonderful to be able to do this for them, knowing that they were soon welcoming a new little one and this was an occasion to cherish. The essence of "sour"!  I caught this picture as my little girl had her first taste of the sour powder she made a rope of in Gatlinburg!  I have a series of them and they all crack me up but this one is my favorite!

This weeks challenge is themed Bubbles and I knew I had the perfect picture to share! This was Kiersten last summer in Ohio playing outside with some bubbles. The sun was just setting and I love the light! Be sure to check out the other great entries here!

I took this picture last summer as my little girl was playing in the pool with her puppy! It is one of those pictures that I can just hear her laughter every time I look at it! Izzy wasn't too happy to be in the pool but Kiersten wouldn't let her out!

I love this picture of Izzy and how she is cocking her head as Kiersten talks to her. I love when dogs to that! It's like they are trying to understand you in some way and communicate with you.

I Heart Faces Week 16 kids

This is my nephews dragracing helmet that I happened to catch my daughters reflection in while we were waiting in the staging lanes for his race. I love the curves of the track and that you can even see the clouds of the perfect day it was! Check out the other entries here

This weeks challenge is all about reflections and I thought this one fit right in! I took some prom pictures for this couple and this was one of the fun ones we did that they ended up loving! I Heart Faces Week 15

This week is a self portrait so I had fun in front of my shower curtain. I love circles and these are my favorite color combos so it seemed very appropriate to use the curtain as a background and the light is really good in my bathroom! I had to laugh when my daughter walked in and gave me a pretty strange look when she saw what I was doing! :) Be sure to check out the other photos at I Heart Faces this week too!

I Heart Faces Week 14

After we decorated our cake pops on Easter the girls decided all the sprinkles on their plates were too much to throw away and decided to make some beautiful lip art out of it! Maggie is just too cute with her purple lips and awesome orange glasses! If you want to see the picture a little closer just click on it and it will pop up in a new window...it's worth it! ;)
