I grew up going to the drive in and they are still all over Ohio, but here in NC not so much. I was very excited to see this one in Shelby when I drove through there a little while ago and knew we would visit it soon. I have great memories of getting in our jammies, gathering lots of snack food and big bowls of popcorn and heading off to the movies. It wasn't just about the movie but playing before hand waiting for it to get dark enough and of course catching fireflies. It was fun to be able to remake this memory with my family last night and I know we will go again very soon!

I love the memories of going to the drive in as a little girl. How fun you got to go to one with your daughter - so love it! I have to find one near us.
