We had our first coop today starting Apologia Zoology 1 and it was a great success! We have added a few new families this year and we are so excited to have them as we all seem like a great fit together. We missed the ones that couldn't make it today though. :( This year we have 7 moms and 15 kids...a great group! Today we started with chapter 1 and did an experiment on air pressure and then finished off with a scavenger hunt at the park. I think it's going to be a great time for everyone.

We're doing Zoology 1 in a co-op with 3 other families this year, and there are 13 children between our four families. The youngest few aren't actually in it though. There are about 9 kids actually in it. We will be meeting every other Friday. We did lesson 1 and are skipping ahead to lessons 9 & up to get to insects while they are still very active. Have fun!
